ATL shining stars, Dres the Beatnik+Pison flo+Chilly-O

Well now that I'm back to blogging. I'm back to wandering through the internets in search of all sorts of randomness. While I was searching through some indie hip hop videos I happened upon this jewel. It's funny because I hadn't really heard from Pison for some months now until I saw him at that free N.E.R.D. show that happened about 2 weeks ago. He really did used to kick this freestyle at apache back in the days though. I know, I was there. Outside of being one of the Coldest beatboxers round these parts, D.R.E.S. the beatnik hosts just about every hip hop show in atlanta. SO why not put the two together, the hottest host, and the Kid with the Flo. Enjoy.

Ryu vs. Kazuya. Together at last

I know we've been gone for a while, but I'm back now. I know I have a tendency to do too many things at once, and whil;e I was trying to get all the pieces together for this mixtape I'm about to release, I kinda let the blog fall by the way side. In any event, I'm back now, and I've come bearing gifts. Check out this gameplay footage from the upcoming Street Fighter x tekken series of games. I actually clapped watching this. enjoy

WOW simply Hard to watch KERI HILSON NATIONAL ANTHEM

So Keri Hilson singing the national anthem at the Hawks v. Laker game seems like it be the ultimate experience. WRONG, lovely voice but accuracy is a must, she completely re words, re says, re does a few lines of the national anthem. Keri HIlson is a great artist, great writer, but tonight "the bear got her." honestly this was a lil hard to watch, but here is a snippet from her performance. Also, toward the end of the anthem you can hear a guy help Keri out by saying "HOME OF THE BRAVE". This was a must post, no brainer, we love you Keri, but damn.

Empire of the Sun F. Izrael- Walking on a Dream

From the upcoming "youtube" mixtape "Jeux Sans Guerras" I present to you Pop group Empire of the Sun featuring Izrael walking on a dream (Rough Version).

R.I.P. SEBAJUN)(NUJABES. dope producer juzzzz listen.

So, the more unfortunate news that I came across is that Hip-hop producer Seba Jun who recorded under the name Nujabes tragically died in a car accident. Nujabes was also owner of the Shibuya record stores, T Records and Guinness Records and founder of the independent label Hydeout Productions. On a personal note, Nujabes' music is amazing, one of my goals for this year was to do a record with the awesome Hip-Hop producer. Unfortunately this dream of mine will never be realized, but I and many others will see to it that, everybody knows how great his music is: the perfect combination of hip-hop and Japanese culture.

So I present to you one of Nujabes more Nostalgic tracks: "Kumomi". rest in peace.

Stanza- Quantum Suicide

Stanza is an Atlanta artist hailing from the south side of the city. Stanza brings soulful flows with his own touch of assertive style, he is a clear rising presence in the inner city and digital airwaves. His performances and overall shows are a must see in addition to his website at Iamstanza.com. So make sure ya'll check him out, and here is one of my personal favorites "Quantum Suicide".

Simon Illa Sessions: Izrael in Technicolor

Today, Simon Illa Sessions: Izrael in Technicolor is released on Itunes (in addition to Amazon and cdbaby). This project is the first of hopefully many more between these two artist. Simon Illa, known for his more recent work with Rock/pop group Vonnegutt, and his absolute superiority of engineering lands another great body of work with Artist Izrael. "Izrael in Technicolor" is the very first release from Izrael on Itunes and is guaranteed to give pop/hip-hop fans alike what they've been craving. The 3 song E.P. is a great mixture of addictive hooks, excellent instrumentation and assertive lyricism, a definite must have for any Itunes library. check the video here.

First Herschell, now the White Ranger!?

Many of you may be aware of Herschell Walker's recent exploits in the realm of mixed martial arts, but apparently He wasn't the first uber-famous Hollywood star to turn to the cage. That's right! Jason David Frank of  Power Ranger Fame had his first MMA Fight in late 2009. Below I've  Included some wonderfully edited footage of one of his bouts.

Tekken Movie Trailer

I've known this was in production for a while. I'm happy they finally released a trailer for it. Looks like this is the first video game adaptation to be spot on with the character designs. Sadly enough it kinda reminds me of that one "D.O.A" movie they got made a while back. I can always hope it's going to be a masterpiece of Epic proportions though. Here's hoping.

WIth the help of KYOJI!! --Shining Finger!

I'm definitely gonna start using this speech before I flip people off now.

I'm as big a gundam fan as the next 21 year old African American rapper, but Shining Finger? Who's that supposed to intimidate?

EASILY THE MOST INTERESTING THING you've SEEN.. EVER.

This video is a display and exhibition of the new technology that the company (Ted) has been working on. The Video is going to show you the very near future of Phones, and a so-called "sixth sense technology." It will help you make decisions on your preference and recognizes iconic gestures. I'm doing a poor job of explaining, but do yourself a favor and skim through this video to see what this thing is capable of.

The Temper Trap- Sweet Disposition

This is the first song that I've heard from this group (the Temper Trap). The vibe is smooth, laid back "Chanty" but catchy. The more interesting thing is the Indonesian lead singer which is not a very common characteristic of Rock bands these days. See if you enjoy this musical delight from this group.
