Ichigo (resureccion) vs. Ulquiorra

Not sure If you guys are into anime as much as I am, but this is kind of a big deal. As a loyal follower of both the Bleach manga and anime series I've been waiting faithfully for this footage to be released. I was thinking I would have to wait indefinitely, as the Bleach anime is showing filler episodes with no end in sight. I'm guessing the powers that be in the Bleach universe could feel the anxiety building and deicided to give us a sneak peek. As a result this footage was included with the japanese release of "Soul Carnival 2" for PSP. Enjoy .

Merry Christmas, from your douchebag parents

Not sure how old this vid is, but I found it today, and I thought it was hilarious.

Girl stands up for the little guy and gets fired by big business

I happened upon this video on facebook the other day, and took the time to watch the whole thing. This young lady's story ended up being pretty interesting, so I decided I should share it with more people. The woman in the video talks about how she was one of Bank of America's best employees, but got fired for taking a stand against their predatory credit practices. while watching you should keep in mind that Bank of America now does business with about 50% of American Citizens.

Young Money- "Where's Wayne"

"Where is Wayne" is a Great attempt at conceptual lyrical expression. Young Money is definitely hot right now due to Drake, Minaj and Wayne, but on this song the other lesser known members get a chance to shine. Overall I think they deliver a good entertaining song, and its definately worth more than one listen. The best verse goes to Nikki Minaj, but Chuckee is a close second. So take a listen and see what you think about a song without WAYNE.

Travis Porter -Go shorty Go (video)

I knew this video was coming,  because I remember when they were shooting it at club obsessions a few weeks ago. With that considered it was a pretty quick turnaround by whoever was doing the editing. I've known about travy for a while, and just like I called that they were gonna blow, I'm telling you this song is gonna be running the clubs before it's warm again. For now just enjoy the video though.

What I'm watching now - Samurai Seven

Anyone who follows this blog site knows that Izrael and I are both adamant anime fans. Every now and again I like to do a post about the latest series that's caught my eye. This week's dose of distraction was "Samurai Seven", an animated take on Akira Kurosawa's classic film "Seven Samurai". The Film version was so popular it influenced the nearly direct western translation  "Magnificent Seven". The show does a good job of breathing new life into a story with an audience that already knows the innards of the plot. To shake things up a bit, the medieval setting is given steampunk elements. This alteration allows for the "bandits" to be replaced with what can best be described as Mobile suits to fans of Gundam lore. The visuals of magnificent samurai using mere katana blades to take down whole battleships is upgraded to the heroes now shearing through metal frames like tin foil. The addition of a completely mechanized samurai, and an extended plot involving some kind of crazy clone fiasco make this a good watch for fans of the original movie or next generation ronin enthusiasts.

Rellik Rebel - Simon Illa Sessions EP

I've been waiting for the right time to do a post about myself, but since I just released a new project, I thought right now would be a fine time. the "Simon Illa Sessions" is a project from me and producer Simon Illa. Simon produced all three of the tracks in the project and I provided the vocals. truthfully this 3 song EP is probably some of my best work to date. You can Scoop it up on itunes here, for $2.97. not exactly free .99, but it shouldn't hurt your pockets too bad. until you get your money up the video below has a some quality sing snippets. Tracklist and album art after the jump.

Duke Gutta - "All I Know"

As an upcoming artist on the grind in the Atlanta area networking is a necessity. In all of my musical adventures I meet alot of artists. Some are good, and some are downright atrocious. Duke Gutta is the former. He's been grinding it out for a while. I've seen him battle with the best of them, and he's one of the few rappers from up top that's been able to transition his classic New England flow into a relevant sound that fits perfectly into today's southern dominated hip hop scene. "All I know" is one of his newer joints that I was just recently put up on.  Seeing as it was thoroughly jamming, I've decided to share it with you.
